The new CX capabilities make customer interactions more intuitive, personalized, and engaging. It also helps to tailor product and promotion recommendations which lead to easier and faster product find and buy. In addition, AI helps the search and content function in a relevant manner. Most retail industry leaders agreed that machine-learning techniques improve the performance of marketing programs and optimize the lead management and sales pipeline processes.

Oracle’s AI strategy is based on three pillars;

  • Ready to go. (AI-powered application)

Oracle Adaptative intelligence Apps are currently available for ERP, CX, SCM, HCM, and MFG. Intelligent UX components help the users with personalized search, complete timecard or enroll in the program, help to do expense and invoice reconciliation, and perform auto defaulting which means autofill, auto list of values. Oracle has also developed conversational agents to translate voice and text into insights and action. Some of the examples were Virtual Sales Assistant for CX, Expense Chat Bot for ERP, Intelligent Employee Onboarding Assistant for HCM, and Conversational Bot for EPM.

Oracle OpenWorld Asia 2019 successfully conveyed two messages to the business community in Asia. The first was insight wins and data is the lifeblood of every business in each industry.  By harnessing the data businesses gain a competitive advantage and able to monetize and stay ahead of their competition. The second message was that the future is autonomous. Artificial intelligence and machine learning are driving changes in the workforce, the competitive landscape, and society at large. The organizations that utilize the power of these technologies now will be at the forefront of the next wave.

In summary, the event was an excellent platform for businesses as well as technology professionals to hear from industry leaders and technology vendors about the future of data-driven enterprise and business apps evolution.
