About Mike Ghasemi

Mike Ghasemi is one of the region’s foremost retail industry futurists. His intellectual work and thinking have influenced many of the region’s best-known retailers, hospitality, and technology companies. As a senior analyst, he covers technology and market trends in the retail and hospitality industries.

Mike’s research includes omnichannel strategy, cross-border e-commerce, supply chain management, customer engagement, and mobility solutions. Mike also analyses future technology trends and use of information technology to transform retail and hospitality organizations. As an ex-IDC regional retail analyst, Mike spent 20 years in the engineering and IT industry, with 10 years in retail information technology software solutions.

He has worked in senior management and leadership positions with multinational and local companies across the region and has been extensively involved in the retail industry, from positioning IT solutions to advising national and regional retail associations on technology trends and road map.
